The Normandy-only tasting menu is the real standout, with bold, distinct flavors. The setting is spectacular too, with incredible views.

We spent two nights here, enjoying the lovely sea views from this simple little place. We'd booked dinner at the restaurant in advance, and it was truly memorable, superb food with beautiful views.

The food was our main reason for coming, and it lived up to expectations. The view was amazing and the rooms beautifully appointed. The meal could easily stand beside Michelin-starred restaurants. Desserts weren't quite on the same level as the rest. Is there a pastry chef? Still, that didn't take away from the five-star experience.

We were glad to have two days to take in the area. Le Landemer is a hidden gem, with spectacular hotel views and a laid-back atmosphere. Dinner was lovely, with just a few tables looking out over the water, and breakfast was amazing.

The room was comfortable, though I wish the shower were more enclosed so water stayed inside it. We enjoyed the interesting food, and Laurent greeted us warmly from the start. The staff were terrific, and the hotel is pleasant and understated, set in a quiet, beautiful part of wild Normandy. It was a wonderful respite in a stunning spot. Merci beaucoup!
