We always leave this country inn satisfied. The rates are reasonable, the food is fantastic, the wine list is fabulous, and the management and staff are friendly. It sits among the unspoiled forests of the Northern Vosges, too.

The food was decent, but for this region it felt average and overpriced. Service was painfully slow. I waited around 15 minutes just to pay by card, and that wasn’t the only delay. If there’s room on the terrace, it might be worth trying once, but I won’t be back because of the service.

The food was only okay and far too expensive for something so mediocre. Service was awful too. One server seemed to avoid us completely, even asking every other table about their meal and skipping ours. Given the choice between this restaurant and going headfirst off a cliff, I’d pick the cliff.

The rooms were nice and cleaned daily, and the food was tasty with good service. Just be ready to speak French or German. Getting by in English is a bit harder.

The view is gorgeous, and the place itself is lovely and charming. The kitchen is excellent, and the room with the fireplace is worth seeing.
