Fleur de vanille

The host was super friendly, and the breakfast was both hearty and delicious, included in the price. The nearby volcano is another plus. It's such a peaceful spot, with birdsong and a lovely floral scent. The room had original decor that made it feel like a little escape, and was just right for relaxing. Great value too. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a break.

The little chalet was clean and just right for two, and everyone was very welcoming. We'd expected the restaurant to be open, though, but it wasn't.

The bungalows were decent, but all the decoration left too little room to store things or move around. Watch out for the glass tables in the living room and outside, they seem fragile and can break easily. And if you need complete darkness to sleep, the motion sensor lights and lights from the surrounding area may make it hard to fall asleep. This is a nice property, though the area of Réunion is less pleasant. With the constant motorcycle and car traffic at night, it wasn't the best fit for tourists looking to rest. The welcome felt odd. We got a glass of punch and a quick hello the next day, then couldn't reach the owners to check out. There was also an animal surprise in our suitcase the next day...

The bungalow was extremely dirty: greasy dishes, dead insects on the backsplash and counters, and dust. The room was uncomfortable and noisy from the street, with no soundproofing and a real echo. The hosts were barely around, and breakfast was plain and unappealing. They charged the full amount well before the stay was over. I don't recommend this place.
