There are just four rooms, right beside a family home. The rooms are superb, the hosts are warm and friendly, and the dogs are even more so. :)

The evening meal was delicious, with local dishes, and breakfast was generous. We especially loved the fresh orange and apple smoothie. We stayed one night over the school holidays with our two young daughters, and the friendly dogs were a hit. Dominique was extraordinarily welcoming. It’s such a peaceful place, and we quickly felt at ease. Our room was very comfortable, with a lovely 180x200 cm king-size bed. We’d love to come back and explore more of this beautiful part of the island. See you soon! :) Aude and Johan

I said I’d leave a review because Dominique greeted us with such warmth and a smile, and the rooms were spacious and spotless, just as the 5-star rating suggests. I even helped make the pork with pineapple. Having lived on the island, I’m more interested in sharing a meal than in the place itself, though the island is practically paradise. I recommend it without hesitation.

Dominique is a lovely host, always happy to talk and share stories about her region. She was so accommodating that she served us breakfast early so we could watch the sunrise at Piton de la Fournaise. The meals she makes are delicious and hearty. She buys ingredients at the market that day, then cooks them with obvious care and love for the region. The Creole meal was generous, and the homemade infused rum was a treat. Breakfast came with homemade bread and pastries, since the family has a bakery nearby. The room was pleasant and clearly well looked after. Hygiene matters to Dominique, and it shows. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was just as nice as the bedroom, with massage jets. Thank you, Dominique.
