The room itself was fine, and its window faced the backyard, which kept it fairly quiet despite the busy street outside. The location is very good, but the price felt far too high for what was offered. The website and photos gave the impression of a much higher standard. In reality, it’s a B&B with a rather small room and nowhere else for guests to spend time. The attractive breakfast and living room, with its sofas and decorations, is the owner’s private space except during breakfast. That also means the garden is only accessible then. We’d expected to be able to relax there or have a glass of wine in the evening, as the website suggested, so this was a real disappointment. There are better options in town for the money.

A little piece of Eden, and well worth a return visit. Olivier is a classy, thoughtful host who took care of everything we needed. His restaurant suggestions were all first class. 10/10.

We stayed in the separate accommodation set in a renovated wine cellar, complete with its own terrace. There are also other rooms in the main building. A wonderful guesthouse, beautifully managed by Monsieur Olivier Durand.

Olivier, the proprietor, was so kind and helpful. The guesthouse is beautifully decorated, serves a wonderful breakfast, and is in a handy spot for walking everywhere.
