Even with poor weather on my late January trip, La Rochelle was lively, fun, and interesting, and definitely worth a visit. The hotel seems recently renovated, with a fresh, modern feel. My room was spacious and had a great bathroom, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the stay and would recommend Yachtsman without hesitation. I might give it five stars, but I save those for truly unique experiences, even though everything here was great.
10/10
My wife left her favorite earrings in the room, and the manager called to let us know, then even mailed them to us. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. The beds are huge and extremely comfortable, and the view over the port is stunning. It's central too, within walking distance of the train station and just a few minutes from dozens of great restaurants. This will always be my first choice hotel in La Rochelle.
10/10
Marcel was really helpful and accommodating, especially when we needed ideas for places to eat. Le Yachtman hotel was clean, fresh, and felt new, with a perfect spot in La Rochelle overlooking the beautiful port. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it, five stars.
10/10
The location is so convenient, and it's an easy walk from the gare. Everything felt top-notch, from the furnishings to the cleanliness. The beds were comfortable, and the place looks like it was just refurbished. Excellent in every way.
10/10
Marcel and the team were so friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in a fabulous spot right on the port. The recently refurbished place is beautiful and has its own little pool area. We had an amazing experience. Le Yachtman hotel is perfect, highly recommended ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
