Getting there by car takes some figuring out. We had to circle the historic area, avoiding closed and one-way streets, to drop off our bags, then either use the underground car park or look for street parking. The night porter was a big help with directions. Once there, we found clean, comfortable rooms and a very good breakfast. The hotel is right in the historic center, close to everything, including the great Saturday market, good restaurants, and nice shops.

The housekeeping team keeps everything in great shape, and the service is friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. It’s also got air conditioning and elevators, which many hotels around here don’t. Definitely recommend!

Simple, clean, and good value, just what you’d expect from an Ibis. Great spot, close to everything.

The staff were great about quickly emailing details on local car parks, and the central location was handy. Breakfast was good, and the rooms were clean with effective air conditioning on a very hot night. It’s good value, though the bathroom was very small and fine for us. The double beds are small too, my very tall husband found his too short. We could have used better pillows.

The room was small but had a modern feel, and you can keep a hired bike in the enclosed courtyard. The reception staff were friendly, and the woman serving breakfast was brilliant. She kept replenishing the food and chatting with guests. She seemed to enjoy her work, and that made a real difference. The hotel was clean and in a perfect spot, with the waterfront, shops, markets, and bus station all within a five-minute walk.
