It’s a small hotel in a suburb of La Rochelle, and getting to the city center by bike is easy and takes about 10 minutes. The road-facing rooms are noisy from the cars, and there’s a lot of humidity with an unpleasant smell. Still, it’s a good, cheap place for one night. Breakfast was OK and inexpensive, no more than 10€ as far as I remember.

They were kind and welcoming, and made an effort to speak my language. Everyone was very nice.

Good spot a little way from the city center. There’s parking available, but no lift.

The place felt clean and welcoming, and the people were very friendly. Facilities are limited, though.

I was trying to move our January 7 stay because of the weather and road conditions, not cancel it, and I knew a refund wasn't available. I couldn't reach the manager by phone or email. Our daughter lives nearby and even went over and rang the bell, but nobody answered. It's hard to understand why there was no response, and we're sorry to see that kind of attitude from the manager.
