We loved the room setup, with its cozy bed space, sitting area and patio looking out over fantastic views. Our hosts were kind, helpful and made us feel very welcome. They'd thought of the little comforts too, from slippers and robes to charging cords and reading lights on both sides of the bed. In the afternoons, that lovely breeze made it easy to rest between the day's activities and the evening. The pool is gorgeous, and the valley views feel magical. Breakfast every morning was generous and delicious, with fresh orange juice, great coffee, pastries, ham, yogurt and fruit. Such a special stay in the Dordogne. Thank you, L and F. We'll miss it!

The gardens and pool were lovely, and our room was really nice. We stayed five nights in August and everything was perfect, but meeting Laurence and Frederic was the highlight. They're two of the friendliest, kindest people, and did everything they could for us. I'll definitely come back.

Laurence and Frederic are terrific hosts, with helpful suggestions for places to visit, eat, and anything else. Their gîte is delightful, in one of France's most beautiful spots. If you get the chance, a lazy afternoon by the swimming pool is a treat.

Months before our July visit, I was already talking through the planned three-night stay with Laurence and Frederic. They were so friendly, accommodating and welcoming, and helped make our marriage proposal incredibly special for both of us. The service and attention to detail throughout our stay were excellent. I highly recommend it!

We really appreciated the warm welcome and the attentive service Laurence and Frédéric gave us each day at Les Hauts. Our room was stylish and spotless, and breakfast by the open log fire was a real pleasure. The wine selection was super, and the pool and gazebo area were beautiful. Even in mid-October, the sheltered pool spot gave us three or four hours of sunshine each afternoon. It's just a short walk from the popular town of La Roque-Gageac. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay. We'll definitely choose Les Hauts again on our next trip to the Dordogne river valley.
