The lake is close by, with a beach where you can swim, and the residence sits in the middle of nature with countless hiking trails to pick from. Patricia gave me a warm, friendly welcome, and I had a wonderful week at the start of September. If you love quiet and walks, don't hesitate. I imagine July and August are less peaceful, though the way the chalets are laid out seems well thought out. Absolutely perfect!

You'll need a car for the roughly 4 km trip to La Salvetat. The residence is along the road by the La Salvetat factory, beyond the lake's water sports center. It's a green, charming place in the Haut-Languedoc, though it's getting old. Apartments 400 have views of Lake Raviège. The manager is attentive and gives guests a warm, family-style welcome. The property's future in 2017 was uncertain with Odalys leaving.
