Breakfast was generous and delicious, served with an incredible view. There’s also the chance to ride gentle horses with a rider who really knows what they’re doing. The place itself is magnificent, decorated with exquisite care and perfect for stepping into the Middle Ages.

The welcome was unfriendly. The toilets were dirty, with blackish limescale in the bowls, and they were very demanding during the inventory check.

The horses are easy and pleasant to ride, and both kids and adults have a great time playing at being knights. Breakfast is served in a wonderful room, the castle’s main living area. A beautiful bed and breakfast.
