Les bungalows de la plage

The location was lovely, the welcome was pleasant, and the price was attractive. We spent a week in the first of the property's three cabins. Luckily, ours had a shed with an outdoor pergola; the middle cabin doesn't. The smell inside was the big downside, somewhere between sweaty feet and wet dog. The owner said it came from the Brazilian wood, but even with the windows open it lingered, especially in the humid bathroom, which had no ventilation. We tried burning incense. The double bed was very small: my feet hung over the end at 1.75 m, and my partner is 1.68 m. There was air conditioning only in the bedroom, and no mosquito net, which would have helped. The interior was dark and awkwardly laid out, and the kitchen was hard to use. It was okay for a week. I heard expansion work is planned, but nothing to address the smell.
