That little evening planche with local cheeses and charcuterie, plus a glass of good wine, was such a nice touch. Our hosts were really warm and welcoming. We stayed in a lovely old house with thick traditional walls, and could park inside the property walls. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean, and the shower nice and hot. Breakfast was delicious. It felt like coming home to the French countryside, surrounded by huge cornfields. The host is a local farmer who runs the cozy B&B with his wife. Highly recommended.

We spent three days in Lachelle, and what stood out was how much the couple seemed to enjoy welcoming people, rather than focusing on building a profitable business. They were excellent hosts, discreet but still there when needed. The room was spacious and very well laid out for the price, with a kitchen available too. It’s also very close to Pierrefonds and Compiègne. Thanks to you both.
