The views from the house and walks through the surrounding countryside made the stay in Lacrost feel special. It was lovely being in a small village just outside Tournus. Our group of 11 family members from Australia stayed five nights in September, and Nathalie and Jean were incredibly kind and helped us arrange dinners and activities in Tournus. The gîte was comfortable and well equipped, with excellent rooms, modern appliances, a BBQ, and a plunge pool. I highly recommend Gîte de La Pyranvôle and its hosts for a stay in Tournus, Burgundy.

Nathalie was lovely and quick to respond, and we appreciated that throughout our stay. The cottage has everything you need, including a roomy kitchen with new, high-quality appliances. It’s beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated, with very comfortable beds and cotton gauze bedding that was just right in cold weather. We would gladly have stayed longer.

The house was comfortable throughout, and everyone in our group of friends loved the four days we spent there. The upstairs kitchen is large and well equipped. All bedrooms have a shower and toilet apart from the dormitory with six single beds, and we had no trouble with the hot water. The village is very quiet, about a five-minute drive from Thournus, the largest town nearby for shops.

Nathalie was easy to deal with, and we had a lovely New Year’s Eve with friends in the house. It’s a really nice place, renovated and decorated with good taste. We’d love to return.

The charming village was a treat, and the four-day weekend at Gîte de La Pyranvôle was fantastic. The living room is lovely and spacious, with exposed beams.
