The outdoor seating is lovely, though the food was a little disappointing. There was only one side dish available, and the eggs in wine sauce were just so-so. The staff are nice, but that doesn't quite make up for the rest.

The view across the vineyards is beautiful, and the restaurant serves fine cuisine. I had a really delicious dorada fillet with seafood sauce. The hotel's standard rooms are very basic, but fine for a night if you're alone or perhaps a couple. They're small, with no sound insulation between rooms, so you can imagine what you hear. Maybe the higher-category rooms are more suitable for families with children. You won't feel embarrassed trying to put headphones on them.

The restaurant was smart, as expected, and the food was very good. We chose from the chef's suggestions: douceur de crabe et écrevisse and bavarois de St Jacques, loup grillé, then savarin de pamplemousse rose and coulant de chocolat. There might have been more vegetables with the main course than needed, but everything else was well prepared and presented. The wine selection is huge, though there are no 50cl bottles. At our age a full bottle is too much, while 37.5 is a little short, but that gap is common throughout Burgundy. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was a self-service buffet with lots of food and drink, including fruit and yogurt, but there was no hot milk for the coffee. We had a very enjoyable stay, and the hotel would make a good base for a longer break. We got a warm welcome on arrival. Our double confort room was a good size, with a comfortable bed and a narrow but spacious, well-equipped bathroom. The shower screen wouldn't stay in place, so I had to wedge it with a flannel.

I've been here three times, and I'll definitely be back. The whole team welcomed me so warmly. The owners really do all they can to make you happy, and I chatted with Benjamin, the owner's son, several times. He's really, really nice. On my first visit for lunch I had only risotto and snails. It was a bit garlicky, but I loved it, so French. The second time, I had something like a poached egg, an oeuf meurette sort of dish, and it was delicious. I would've mopped the pan clean, haha. For the main course I had bavette, which was good, though I liked the starter more that time. On my third visit I had an amazing terrine with a piece of foie gras in the middle. I'd never seen that before, and it was so good. My main was Fillet Mignon with black carrot and mashed onion, plus a few other things I didn't ask about. It was really delicious. I've gone every Tuesday and still remember what I ate. Do you remember what you had for lunch last Thursday? If not, maybe it wasn't good enough. Trust me and go. Thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome. Hope I'll see you again. Keep it up! Cheers!

The hotel has nice rooms, beds, and bathrooms, plus a pleasant lobby and a great restaurant with good food. There could be more breakfast choices. I can truly recommend the hotel.
