Accessible Stay Near La Rochelle

The location was decent, the pool looked neat, and the staff were friendly in their manner, even though they didn't act on our request. The rooms had air-conditioning listed when I booked, but it didn't work at all. When I asked, I was told there was a technical problem. Looking at earlier reviews afterward, I saw many people seemed to have had the same experience, so it didn't feel like a coincidence. If you need air-conditioning, don't count on it. They supplied a fan, but that isn't comparable, and there was no compensation offered. Cleanliness was also very poor. The management didn't seem to care about maintaining the property: from the main entrance windows to the room balconies, everything was very dirty. This is the worst accommodation I've stayed in in France. I'll never return.

We had a fantastic one-night stay and would definitely come back if we're in the area again. There was plenty of free parking on site, and the receptionist was very helpful. Our upstairs room was comfortable and well equipped, with a lovely balcony looking out over the chateau gardens.

There isn't any air-conditioning, just a fan. Customer service offered a 50euro code for a future réservation. The parking is dirty and so stuffy it's hard to breathe. The rooms are old and smell. Avoid!

The room was lovely and the hotel was nice, with a good restaurant. We only stayed one night, which was a pity.
