Residence Ambroise Pare

Angélique and Franck made us feel so welcome and were always ready to help during our stay. As first-time spa guests in Lamalou-les-Bains, we were very happy with the residence, especially its location right beside the thermal baths. Our apartment was roomy, quiet, comfortable, and well equipped, with a big terrace and secure parking. We've already booked for next year and are glad to recommend it.

On July 13, 2025, we visited family staying at the Ambroise residence. After eating at a nearby family restaurant, we came back through the underground car park. My mother-in-law, who is over 70, felt dizzy and unwell and needed to lie down. My wife, our two-and-a-half-month-old baby, and I were with her. We entered the lift at the parking level. My father-in-law typed in the code for the floor, but it gave an error. It happened twice, and I admit we may have hurried because we were hot and panicking. The problem was that we couldn't get out once inside without entering the code perfectly. Normally, if you enter it wrong, the lift unlocks at the floor you started from, but here we were trapped. We tried calling emergency services, but there was no phone signal in the car park. We couldn't hear the operator, and they hung up. This is a dangerous setup, especially for older or frail people who might forget the code or get it wrong.

The flat's little balcony was handy for getting some air on days when I was too tired to go walking, and the place was genuinely wheelchair accessible, so I could stay independent. It's also right by the thermal baths, with great shops all around. I felt at home from the start. The apartment was really pleasant, and the whole team was attentive, kind, and helpful. My one small suggestion would be to raise the laundry room washing machines to make them easier to reach from a wheelchair. I'd be happy to come back! 😊

Angelique at reception was so professional, kind, and attentive, and that big smile of hers really lifted our spirits. Thanks to her, the housekeeping team, and maintenance as well. We had a great time in this secure residence, staying in a lovely, fully equipped ground-floor apartment with all the comforts, right in the city center. I'd absolutely recommend it for a future stay 🤩🤩🤩
