The room was three-quarters empty when we arrived at 12:50 p.m., yet a waitress showed us out and said they were full. What a dreadful welcome. Some restaurant owners deserve applause, this is an address to avoid.

The beds and rooms were poor, and the bathroom was very basic. Dinner and breakfast were basic too, not what I’d expect from a Logis de France. I’m sorry, but I really can’t recommend this hotel. The reception was bland, at best.

The hotel was quiet, and we were welcomed pleasantly with good service. The meals were refined, with sophisticated dishes, and breakfast had a broad, high-quality selection.
