Au cœur du quartier historique

We arrived at the agreed 4 pm check-in time, but the room still hadn't been fully prepared, which was disappointing. Breakfast had apparently been served the day before, so it wasn't fresh or good, and the portion was small (see photo). I seriously doubt it came from a bakery. The TV didn't work either. Very disappointing for the price.

The private spa was very reasonably priced, and we had the relaxing, rejuvenating time we’d hoped for. Our room made a great first impression at the entrance, and felt warm, cozy, and romantic. We were lucky to have a swing in the room, a real rarity in the area. The setting is exceptional, right in the heart of the city. For parking, Stanco is less than a five-minute walk away, and we are in the city center. Don’t hesitate to book.

The apartment had several thoughtful touches, including little cakes on arrival, and the owner communicated clearly by email. It was practical for cooking, with a well-equipped kitchen, and despite facing the street on the ground floor, we weren’t disturbed by noise. It could be a great holiday rental, but there are maintenance issues that need attention. The shower tray shows a serious lack of upkeep. At minimum, the grout needs replacing. The ventilation in both the kitchen and bathroom doesn’t seem to work, a problem that appears to be known to the owners. There are dehumidifiers in the bedroom and bathroom, yet the apartment is almost constantly damp, even before using the bathroom. There was an odor, damp bedding, and moisture inside stored glasses. The only way to air the place is to open the front door, since the apartment’s only window cannot be opened. Resolving the damp would make a big difference to the stay.

The private spa was magnificent, and we also booked a one-hour couples massage that was simply fantastic and deeply relaxing. We spent one night in the nautical-themed apartment, right in the center of Lannion, with bars and restaurants only a three-minute walk away. The apartment was spotless, the bedding remarkably comfortable, and access was easy. It’s completely independent, which is very convenient for a short stay. We highly recommend it for a romantic weekend.
