I booked through bookingdotcom, but they don't tell you that everything is closed. I was there in October 2018, and the place was empty. No other guests, no lights on at night, no bar, restaurant or reception, no outdoor furniture, no bikes to rent, and no food or even a shop. I had to go back to the village for water, but all the shops were shut and the patisserie had run out of food too, so I had no dinner. The room I was offered was okay and clean, in one of the small, military-like houses away from the hotel. You have to put on the sheets yourself. I don't know what perfume they used on the laundry, but it was intense. The place might be nice in summer, but my October stay was disappointing. You’re on your own, though nobody will bother you. Bring your own food and enjoy the beautiful nature.

There was no Wi-Fi, and the facilities were poor. The central heating stayed on all day and couldn't be turned off, so at night the room was literally above 30 degrees Celsius.

The service is excellent, and the food is delicious, which matters 😋. It’s a quiet holiday village with everything you need for a truly relaxing break, and it’s very pleasant and well located. The station, pharmacy, and other essentials are a 30-minute walk away. We’ll be back.
