The room was unbearable in mid-August with no air conditioning, and the tiny TV looked straight out of the 90s. I was shocked to pay this much for so little comfort. The bathroom had rust and mold everywhere, the carpets were dirty, the wallpaper ancient, and the ceiling was crumbling. Even the room's inside door was covered in fingerprints. A quick wipe would have been the least they could do, especially during the Coronavirus pandemic. The bedding was shabby and disgusting, and the "balcony" was in a deplorable state. I refused to sleep in those unsanitary conditions, but despite my complaints the managers won't refund me. How did this place get two stars? It needs an urgent inspection and should be removed from Booking.com. Avoid at all costs.

The staff were lovely, but the hotel itself clearly isn't up to standard or modern. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired in both the rooms and the shared areas. Such a shame...

Don't try to renovate anything here, it all works perfectly as it is. This is a vintage gem, a rare chance to sleep in a completely authentic period hotel where Pompidou once stayed.

A good place to stay while exploring the region. The rooms are simple but clean, the hosts are charming and friendly, and breakfast is excellent.

It feels like stepping into the 60s, with everything in place to make you want to leave. And the breakfast is inedible.
