The balcony and the view are the best parts of this place. But we paid specifically for a double sea-view room with a balcony, and the bed was actually two beds pushed together. It was also dirty, with someone else’s hair on it. The soap in the sink is diluted, the shower soap doesn’t work at all, and there’s no hairdryer.
We paid for breakfast, but the options were so embarrassingly limited that we left without eating. The room was just as disappointing: a futon mattress, questionable facilities, and a dirty shower. In Room 1, water ran through ceiling pipes from the floors above all night. The promotional photos give a misleading impression of what you get. I really regret booking here. Avoid it if you can.
The rooms are simple and basic, but they’re clean and spacious, and the price felt fair for this location. Restaurants and the beach are only steps away, and the car park is right there too. We got a friendly welcome, including from the cute dog Ginger. We’ll definitely stay again!
The restaurant downstairs is lovely, and the beach is just across the road. Our room was clean and had air conditioning, though the shower was tiny and there was nowhere to hang the shower head. You can technically see the sea, but only by leaning out of the window. The welcome wasn’t especially warm, though I appreciated that they spoke English. There were also odd plumbing noises during the night. Otherwise, it was okay.
The staff were very nice, and the hotel is in a good location. A good place to stay.
