A small park tucked among the trees, so most pitches are shaded, and it wasn't too expensive. It's in a good central spot on the island, with brilliant cycle routes that let you get all over from here. Bois was a very pleasant 20-minute walk away, and the beach was about ten minutes on foot. The showers were warm but basic, and there were the usual spider families in the rafters, understandable in a wooded setting. The reception staff seemed a bit miserable.

Lovely site, about a 15-minute walk from the village. The market is great too.

Île de Ré is a great part of France to explore, and we had a wonderful week here. The place is lovely and so close to the beach. Jeremy and Pauline were both really nice and helpful. Thanks!

A small campground, but it has what you need: water taps, a play area for children and bike hire, with the beach nearby. The showers, toilets, sinks and washing-up area were clean. There's a washer and dryer that take tokens from reception. It was quiet at night and close to cafes, restaurants, a boulangerie and rides for children.

We stayed in a mobile home for just three nights. It's a nice, small campground with direct access to the dunes and beach, though getting there takes some fitness!
