Breakfast was our favourite part, eating Jenny's delicious homemade cooking on top of the mountain. She and Marc spoke only a little English, but still went out of their way to suggest activities and restaurants. The daily housekeeping was perfect, and our laundry came back neatly folded and smelling like home. We were so grateful for the unforgettable welcome and the feeling that we were their favourite child coming home for the weekend. Their warmth showed everywhere, from the spotless room, more like half a flat, to the picture-perfect garden, pool, view, and the cute chickens and cats. Thank you, Jenny and Marc, for such a memorable stay at your wonderful B&B.

There are plenty of things to see nearby, including Lascaux, Rocamadour, wineries, chateaux, restaurants serving great local food, and picturesque villages. You'll need to drive to them, though the location is central and most sights are less than an hour away. I stayed four days in April at this wonderful B&B. Jenny and Marc were kind, attentive hosts with lots of local recommendations. The house and grounds are beautiful, with a marvelous view over the Vezere River valley. My room was spacious and comfortable. We managed to communicate despite the language barrier, with a little help from the Translator app. Breakfast was fantastic, including eggs from the chickens on site.

The pool was kept open so we could swim during the October heatwave, and the views were stunning. Breakfasts were lavish, the room was immaculate and tasteful, and the air conditioning and cosy bed made it easy to relax. This special little place was a treat for all the senses and by far the best stay of our trip, the best B&B I've been to, full stop. Jenny and Marc were the friendliest hosts. I'd love to return again and again for a cosy break away from it all.

We stayed in some great places over our two week holiday, but this was easily our favourite. The room was lovely and we woke up to beautiful views each morning. Marc and Jenny gave us such a warm welcome and made us feel at home. The lift to and from the station helped us both times and got us off to a great start for each leg of our holiday. Breakfast by the pool, with spectacular views of Le Bugue and the Vézère valley, was the highlight every day. Jenny is a talented chef, and her homemade jams, crepes, waffles and cured meats were a perfect start to a day in this beautiful region. We had a wonderful four-night stay in May 2023 at Le Clos des Etoiles bed and breakfast. Marc and Jenny were amazing hosts who booked restaurants for us, helped plan great sightseeing excursions and made us feel welcome in their beautiful property.
