Le Clos Lascazes

Christine made sure we had everything we needed, from settling in and pointing out good places to visit or eat to serving magnificent breakfasts of homemade jams and yogurt, fruit, croissants, and baguettes. Her home is beautiful, set in lovely countryside, yet close to the sights and culture of the Dordogne. We had a restful, fun time on a memorable adventure in the region. Los Clos Lascazes is a gem and great value for your money.

We were in the area for a wedding and had a fantastic stay. Christine was a perfect hostess, and the property is lovely. There are plenty of beautiful places to explore nearby, though we also enjoyed relaxing in the room, swimming in the pool, and having the homemade breakfast. Highly recommend. If you'd like dinner nearby, I'd suggest booking ahead.

We were so glad we booked three nights at beautiful Clos Lascazes, and could easily have stayed longer. Christine was a wonderful host and gave us lots of helpful tips for things to do nearby. The setting is stunning and peaceful, with plenty of activities and beautiful surrounding areas close by. The breakfast was delicious and highly recommended.

Last September we stayed longer at Le Clos Lascazes so we could explore more of the area, having visited several times before. This time we chose the gite 'Cussac' and were impressed by how comfortable, clean, and peaceful it was. It's very well equipped and has a lovely private outdoor terrace. Christine was so lovely and made sure we had everything we might need for a memorable stay. We thoroughly enjoyed it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this beautiful gite in such a wonderful location.
