Hotel Mas du Brulat

The pool and garden were heavenly, with lavender and olive trees giving the place a real Provençal feel. We loved the recently opened wine bar too, especially the original features left from its days as a wine-making space. This is a wonderful boutique hotel, inside and out. Our room was stylish, peaceful, and extremely comfortable, and breakfast was fantastic. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, which added something special to the stay. We'll absolutely come back next time we're in the area.

The staff were the secret ingredient to our stay at Mas du Brulat. They took us under their wing from arrival to departure, gave us useful recommendations for things to do and local towns on market days, and helped make the whole visit feel special and relaxing. Their suggestions included the medieval village of Le Castellet, with its charming shops and spectacular valley views. The hotel sits in the heart of Le Brulat, a gorgeous spot for a chilled holiday. The grounds, with the scent of olive trees and a two-tiered pool open daily from 8am-8pm, were a delight to relax in. Each morning there was a full breakfast selection, from fresh fruit and cereals to croissants and fresh coffee. The restaurant, L’Olivier, was incredible. Its food reflects local cuisine and was flavourful, delicate, and fairly priced. We could eat inside or on the garden terrace, where the tables were far enough apart to feel comfortable. Before dinner, we often sat at the bar to watch the staff make their delicious cocktails. Everything exceeded expectations. The hotel is furnished beautifully in a comfortable contemporary style with an old-feel twist, modern art, and vintage pictures showing the hotel over the years. The modern bathroom had all the amenities we wanted, crisp white towels, and toiletries sourced from Scotland. It's the kind of place that makes for a luxury escape, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

I only booked this hotel because it was the sole option left during ELMS season, but the room comfort and service quality really surprised me. The restaurant on the first floor was amazing too, and pate lovers should definitely try the pate. Everyone on staff was kind and friendly. I'd come back next time I'm in the south of France nearby.

This hotel is just the best. The restaurant is lovely, the bar is great, and the rooms are lovely too. It's classy and stylish, with such a Provence feel, and everything has been done to a really high standard. Highly recommend.
