Mas Misajail

We've been to the yoga classes at Mas Misajail several times. The setting is lovely, especially at day's end when the sun is going down. I highly recommend it!

The venue was exceptional, the service was top quality, and Sarah communicated with us impeccably and was always available. That helped make the christening day go flawlessly, with guests delighted. The Mas team were also so attentive to our children, which touched us deeply. We'll gladly return and will highly recommend them.

I've never written a negative review before, and perhaps I've been lucky or chosen my stays well. But a 4-star place still needs to be up to standard and able to provide a proper tourism reception. We look forward to our vacation all year after a lot of effort and sacrifice. After booking and paying well in advance, €1200 and more for a week, we shouldn't be treated like unwelcome guests in someone's home. The location was the only positive, and that alone wasn't enough. The day before we arrived, they emailed to say that because of a private event we couldn't use the pool or the whole outdoor area from 4:00 PM, our scheduled check-in time, until 10:00 AM the next day. We were allowed into the accommodation, at least. I replied, annoyed, but heard nothing back. It caused stress before we had even arrived. We got there at 4:00 PM the next day, as scheduled, after a long trip from Normandy and stays at four different properties, all with positive reviews. The parking lot was full, so I had to leave my car in the middle of the street. People were partying everywhere, inside and outside the pool. The welcome was hasty and very cold. When I told the lady it didn't seem fair that we couldn't use services included in our stay, she brushed me off and said our stay would only begin at 10:00 AM the next day. After all my years of travel, I'd never heard anything like it. It was stressful for us. You also have to disarm and rearm an alarm every time you enter or leave the pool, which was unheard of and stressful. After the first day, we shared the pool with what felt like a construction site. We'd come looking for somewhere quiet to relax, but day after day there was work on a new space on the patio beside the pool, with constant noise from circular saws, angle grinders, drills, and materials being carried around from morning until late at night, even after dinner. We often left, or went back to the apartment because of all the comings and goings. We couldn't even eat in the courtyard. The staff seemed completely indifferent, as if we didn't exist. If they'd kindly explained that some urgent work had to be done, we would have understood. Instead, the noise made the days stressful from morning to night. On our last morning, we asked for a hair dryer because the one in the apartment hadn't worked since day one, and we'd been drying our hair in the sun. They said they didn't have one, though they could have taken the one from the other empty apartment to provide the service. We left at 8:30 in the morning with wet hair, but at least we were leaving.

The farmhouse is beautiful and sits between the vineyards and the sea, just 15 minutes away. We really enjoyed the quiet, the pool, and the jacuzzi. Sarah was so welcoming, always available, and very pleasant. We had a wonderful Ascension weekend and will be back soon. Thanks for such a lovely stay and for your kindness.
