Gites Du Caylar-Chambres

Ruth is a real charm, and breakfast was the best we’ve had on our trip so far. We only stayed one night and wished we could have added more time. Both the rooms and the whole property are elegant, well furnished, clean and tidy. Totally brilliant!

A peaceful garden with a fabulous pool, seating, little romantic corners and a hammock for two. The studio itself was beautiful and relaxing, thoughtfully decorated, with a huge shower and a lovely private balcony. The hostess provided everything we needed and more. A perfect base for exploring an area full of surprises.

What began as an unplanned night at Gites du Caylar, after our car broke down at the nearby gas station, turned into a wonderful discovery. The hosts were amazing and helped with all our questions and requests. Though they were fully booked the next night, they let us have extra checkout time while the car was being repaired. The suites and breathtaking garden are arranged with so much thought and taste, down to every little detail. It felt like a fairytale, like a place from the movies. What could have become a nightmare turned into a stay in a beautiful gem. Thank you so much for everything!

I arrived later than I’d hoped, and it was only a short stay, but I had a great time. The service came with a smile, and I enjoyed the pool and the room. Next time I hope I’ll have more time to enjoy it all.
