We only stayed two nights, passing through, and found this a fine stopover hotel with good food and a bakery around the corner. It’s a cool, authentic-looking hotel and restaurant. The staff were the highlight, very friendly and helpful. Their English isn’t great, but they understand you, and Google Translate can help. There’s no reception desk, so you go into the restaurant, where the staff also handle the hotel, and they show you to your room. Ours was for four, for us as a couple with a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old. The beds could be better. The room has two single beds up a steep staircase, and it gets quite hot up there since there’s no air conditioning above them. The stairs are steep, too. The TV is mounted high on the wall, so there’s no way to connect a Chromecast in that room. Parking during the day was a challenge, as there aren’t many street spots, and the nearby garage was closed for construction when we were there.

We spent four days at the hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, and there’s a large parking lot nearby. The staff were very friendly, and the hotel restaurant was excellent, with great food. I recommend it.

We stopped here for one night on the way south. The room was clean and had some nice old details, plus big fluffy towels and two good pillows per person. Breakfast was okay, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome. Good value for the price.

Nothing to complain about. We had an excellent meal for two at a table toward the back in the cave. My friend picked a very good wine, and it went beautifully with the courses.
