Le figuier

That pool was such a relief during the especially hot week, and everyone, young and old, enjoyed it. The cottage itself was comfortable and welcoming. Véronique and Bernard were thoughtful hosts, offering useful tips for seeing their lovely region while giving us plenty of privacy. We came away feeling rested, with lots of nature and new discoveries. Thanks so much for having us, and good luck with your future projects.

La piscine privée was a real highlight, and the equipment throughout was very good quality. At Le Figuier, everything was impeccably clean, and the gîte has been decorated with real taste. Bernard and Véronique were lovely hosts, discreet but always there when needed. A place to keep in mind, we’d go back without hesitation. Best wishes for what comes next, and see you again.

We spent three lovely weeks at Le Figuier and would like to return, hopefully with a bit more sunshine. Even when the weather wasn’t great, we still got to swim often. The garden and new pool were fantastic, and our puppy had plenty of room to run. We brought bikes and a trailer for the dog, rode around the area, and let the dog swim in nearby streams, rivers, and the lake. There are also plenty of walks you can start right from the house. Bernard and Véronique welcomed us warmly to a spotless house, with fresh garden eggs and walnuts, plus Véronique’s homemade jam. The place has been renovated with a lot of care. The bathroom especially impressed me: Bernard laid the tiles beautifully, following an intricate pattern designed by Véronique. It really is a work of art. The house is well equipped for a comfortable stay, with a washing machine, oven, baking gear, food processor, and much more. Thanks again, Véronique and Bernard. See you next time!
