The location is extremely convenient, with access from SNCF Gare and the tramway. There's a laundry room and dining area in the residence, and the rooms are clean, though some may have existing damage. Take photos before settling in, because staff may later claim damage that was already there and ask you to pay. I was also told to be careful about extra charges if I questioned them. Staff can be extremely rude, banging on doors if we don't answer right away or entering rooms while we're out to leave a written note or adjust the heater. They can be mean to pre-university students, keep part of the deposit over alleged damage without proof, and show little understanding if rent is even slightly late. I once saw a French notice in the elevator saying, “people who spit in the elevator are animals.” Go only if the staff treats you well.

It's very handy for the main station, and the tram makes it easy to get to both the town center and the racetrack.

Think of it as urban camping and you might be happiest here. There's no air conditioning, so you have to keep the window open day and night. Cars and scooters roar past at full throttle about every 15 minutes, waking you just as you're starting to drift off again. The beds are almost as hard as the floor. Choose another hotel in another location. I'd gladly pay more for a room where I could actually sleep instead of lying there wishing I'd spent a little extra for real rest.

I booked for the June 2020 24 Hour Le Mans Race. When it was postponed to September, the hotel offered to move my reservation, but in the end I couldn't attend the race that year. They cancelled the booking without any hassle. The manager was cordial and professional, and the customer service was excellent.
