Le Floreal

After a great hike, my spacious, comfortable room, La Cocagne, was just right for relaxing, especially with its excellent bed. Jérémy made me feel at ease as soon as I arrived. Breakfast brought a different homemade pastry each morning, a real treat for anyone with a sweet tooth. A wonderful place to stay.

The rooms were spotless, roomy, and cozy, and the rest of the house was just as pleasant. There’s a wood-burning stove for winter evenings, plus a sauna. Jérémy was incredibly friendly and had plenty of ideas for our stay. The homemade breakfasts were sumptuous every day, and the place is perfectly located for exploring the Aubrac region. We loved it and would happily recommend it.

The games library is well stocked, so it’s easy to spend an enjoyable evening with the other guests. Ask Jérémy about the “what do you do meme.” He’s always cheerful, and the atmosphere is great. We also appreciated how professional and friendly he was, and we’ll be back. The cottage is beautiful and quiet, with a tasteful room and a comfortable bed. It’s well placed for walks and exploring nearby. Jérémy makes a delicious, varied breakfast himself, a lovely way to recharge before heading out. And after a workout, the sauna is a great place to unwind.

A good sauna at the end of the day and some board games provided for guests made it easy to relax. There’s lots to do around Aveyron, from walks and hikes to castles and museums, and the setting is magical. Floreal is a lovely place to discover, with beautiful interiors, a comfortable bedroom, and a dream bathroom. The breakfasts were the best I’ve ever had at a guesthouse or gîte. Jérémy makes different recipes each day for these “small” breakfasts, small in name only, and they’re a wonderful start to the day. Thank you to Jérémy for being so welcoming, available, and consistently kind. The stay felt just like the region, magnificent and friendly.
