The welcome wasn’t pleasant, and reception seemed annoyed when I woke her. I’d booked online, but no one was there when I arrived. There was no coffee at the hotel, so I had to go next door. The broken window blinds wouldn’t close, the heater didn’t work, and the top bed hadn’t been made even though I booked for three people. Disgusting. Avoid at all cost.

Rooms had no linen and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in ages. There was mouldy food, ants, and other unidentified insects. The showers were horrible, and the whole place looked like a setting for an SF movie. I’ve seen many places, but this was the dirtiest. Employees were lazy and hard to find, and they didn’t speak any languages except French. The passwords we were given had mistakes, so correcting them took an hour. We might even have discovered a new species. Nothing more could be done with this place. Please don’t come here.

For a low price, you get a bed to sleep in. It’s a budget hotel, so keep expectations low; don’t count on service or extras. There’s no 4G, and Wi-Fi is capped at 1 Mbps, so looking things up is slow.

The room was a good size and cleaning was prompt. It’s basic, inexpensive accommodation, conveniently close to the motorway.

Finding it at night was difficult.
