The peaceful setting made it easy to unwind, and our room was spotless. We were given bathrobes and slippers, plus separate towels for the pool. Catherine welcomed us warmly and kept checking that we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Utah the golden retriever was lovely company too :) We especially recommend the table d’hôte dinner. Catherine made the best ratatouille we’d ever had. Thanks for everything, we’ll definitely come back.

After a long drive, the large pool was a welcome place to relax, and we had a lovely home-cooked dinner. The local cheeses at breakfast were a nice surprise, especially since we’d enjoyed trying them the evening before. The breakfast also included fresh, rather large croissants, pains au chocolat and bread, along with butter, homemade jams, juice and coffee. It’s a beautiful château full of character, set in the French countryside, and the owners were extremely welcoming and helpful.

Breakfast and dinner were generous, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. The château has a romantic, relaxing feel, and the owners were attentive throughout our wonderful stay. We’d highly recommend staying here. Thanks again to Catherine and Philippe.
