Gîte des Etangs de Beaulieu

Pierre-Alexandre is available before the weekend and during it if anything comes up, which is helpful when arranging a celebration. I've stayed here three times now, for my sister's 30th, a friend's birthday, and my own, and each visit has been a lovely time. It's peaceful and pleasant in both June and October. The sleeping arrangements, separate main room, and well-equipped kitchen all work well for birthdays or other gatherings. Outside, there's a terrace, a pond, and outdoor and covered tennis courts, and you can keep the party going until the early hours.

I came for a birthday weekend on September 28th, after visiting for family events three years in a row. The place feels comfortable, with an operational kitchen and a large, thoughtfully designed barbecue. Improvements are being made each year, though I know it's not easy for the host to get everything done at once. Bravo, Mr., for all the commitment you're putting into restoring the place. Keep going, even if it takes time.

There was plenty for the adults and kids to do, and the cottages were lovely. We had a fantastic weekend with family and friends in a calm, relaxing setting. We were also given a very warm welcome. Thanks for everything!

The owner was attentive, and the place had all the facilities we needed. It's charming and welcoming, less than 2 minutes from Paris, yet the setting feels relaxing. I'd definitely recommend it for birthdays or family get-togethers ;)
