Le Clos des Oliviers

There are lots of lovely spots to sit in the garden, and the area is wonderfully quiet. Caroline and Jean Paul were attentive hosts who shared helpful tips about the local area. Highly recommended!

The garden and terraces make for such a special Provençal setting, with 600-year-old olive trees, figs, lavender, and rosemary. We loved spending time by the pool on the lower terrace, where there’s a barbecue, a cosy dining spot, and somewhere to relax. Our room also had a private terrace with comfortable loungers and a table, perfect for summer evenings. The cicadas and the incredible night sky made it all feel unforgettable. There’s so much care in this house. It has just one guest room, furnished with such taste and attention that we fell in love with it right away. The lovely furniture, lamps, figurines, pictures, and gentle scents make every corner feel full of love. It’s the kind of place where you could write, paint, or compose music. Breakfast was divine. Caroline served aromatic coffee and fresh bread with so much care, and her friendly husband brought homemade jams from the kitchen. Each day Caroline gave us useful ideas for what to see and do. We’d prepared for the trip, but some suggestions were real local insider tips. She also gave us vouchers for restaurants and the Fragonard perfume factory. We rarely meet people as kind and welcoming as the owners. We’ll definitely return to Le Clos des Oliviers and recommend it to our friends.

We went as a group of 16 colleagues for an end-of-year meal in December 2017. Even with the restaurant full, the service was excellent, and we all ate very well. The atmosphere was warm, sociable, and family-like. I highly recommend it for both the food and the ambiance.

The property is comfortable and charming, tucked away among lots of greenery. The owners are exceptionally kind and welcoming. In summer, having a swimming pool makes the place even more appealing.
