Maison Le Retour

The apartment and its surroundings were beautiful, and the room was just as it looked in the pictures, clean and nicely decorated. Our hosts were lovely, and breakfast was delicious and homemade. Whenever we had a question or problem, they took the time to help with anything. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely stay in France!

The food is great, and the hosts are the best part, so friendly and always ready to help. It’s a quiet, excellent spot in the countryside, with trees all around between the mountains and the sea. The swimming pool is superb.

We felt right at home in this Provençal house and its old-world garden, where there’s so much respect for nature, biodiversity, ecology, and the small things. Enrica and Simone are wonderful souls, and their big dog was always ready to play ball. Breakfast was delicious, with local ingredients and homemade desserts, herbal teas, fresh flowers, and fresh and dried fruit with yogurt. Thank you, Enrica and Simone, for sharing so much of yourselves with us! Chiara, Davide, and Cloe.

If you’re a city person used to the noise, technology, stress, and rush of urban life, but you also love nature, quiet, the good life, and moments that seem to stand still, Maison Le Retour is for you. Some of us, ourselves included, will find a small, bucolic house in a big garden where nature has long been left to take over. Enrika, Simone (pronounced "Simoné"), Jacky the dog (or Giacki, or Jacquie, we’ll never know), and Pistache the cat welcomed us. Everything is arranged to help you rest, ease the stress, and rediscover the pleasure of a simple life close to nature, whether you stay for a day or a week. Comfort is minimal, but it’s the kind you need. You might spend half a day by the pool, perhaps just the two of you, with the mountains in view. A real treat. And if you already love this kind of atmosphere, you’ll enjoy it even more. PS: Thanks again to Enrika and Simoné for a wonderful stay. We’re looking forward to coming back to Le Retour!
