We stayed for three nights last week and had a great time. Thanks to Olivia at reception, who worked so hard day and night and was always helpful. For a family of four, we paid £100 per night including breakfast, which felt like great value.

For what you pay, this is a good deal: a clean, comfortable bed and a hot shower, which can get VERY hot. It’s a simple, no frills place, just as described, and about 20 minutes by car from Mont St. Michel. Check in and check out were quick, and the staff were very professional. The doors open straight outdoors, so it can be cold.

A staff member greeted us in the evening and was friendly and attentive. She spoke good English, which really helped with the details. She was also on hand during breakfast in the morning to check we had everything we needed.

The room was tiny, and our bedsheet had little black bits on it that we couldn’t identify. Breakfast was extremely basic, with no cold meats at all. It’s motel style accommodation, and there’s nothing much right around it.

It’s a small, simple room, so you get what you pay for. I loved having a vending machine available 24/7, and the breakfast buffet was surprisingly good with plenty of choice.
