Lovely rooms, great staff, and a fantastic spot on Cap Ferret. Definitely recommended!

We had to ask reception to turn the music off at 10:30 pm. There weren’t any guests around, just employees. Then terrace maintenance began at 11 pm, with no one paying attention to the noise. Earlier, garbage containers had been moved beneath the terrace at 8:30 pm, also noisily. The room had a small sea view, but also looked onto a very cheap-looking children’s carousel. At €460, that’s something you have to accept, apparently. The restaurant was no better: the food wasn’t worth talking about, and the atmosphere felt like a snack kiosk by an outdoor pool. The service was handled by students who seemed more interested in their friends than in paying guests, especially after 6 pm. If you want life in a student dorm, go ahead. We won’t return. Avoid Hotel Cote Sable if you want a good meal. This place is a disgrace to the area, unless you’re into Ballermann.

We only stopped in for food and drinks, not a stay, and it was a complete restaurant disaster. Service was painfully slow and surly. The fries were nearly raw, and the soggy club sandwich had cheap turkey and looked unappetising. The illustrated tartine is hard to describe. The food was so awful I wouldn’t give it to my dog. A real shame for Cap Ferret. Don’t ruin your vacances by coming here.

I had a lovely spa treatment at this hotel a few years ago, so I booked another facial last week. This time was awful. My appointment was for 11, but I wasn’t taken to the room until 11:15. I thought the treatment might run late to make up for it, but it was finished by 11:50. When I mentioned that, the masseuse denied it and said she’d actually gone over time, then tried to defend herself. She left the face mask on far too long and went out of the room; I could hear her phone clicking. At the front desk afterward, I politely explained that I was surprised she’d left the mask on and left instead of carrying on with the treatment. They told me I should have said what I wanted. As a customer, I didn’t realize I had to instruct the spa on how to do its job. The space and facilities are lovely, but the services have gone downhill since my last visit, and I wouldn’t recommend booking one.
