L' Appart' - Les Achards

We’ve rented places regularly, and this was our third 10-day stay in a row. I’ve never experienced such a gap between an ad and what we found. The welcome tray had two Nespresso capsules for us, and although the decor looked pretty and the shower had white grout in the photos, the apartment itself was filthy: stains, dust that looked months old, mold, and dead insects. The fixtures were unsanitary, with black grout in the shower, a clogged drain, and broken door handles. Parking was difficult, on the street and only if a space was available. The outdoor bins were overflowing and nearly blocked the entrance. Inside, there was a nauseating smell, and we could hear noise from the apartment above. The view was of an untended courtyard, with weeds against the windows and dilapidated buildings. There’s plenty more I could mention, but the photos speak for themselves. We were glad to have stayed only one night as a stopover, and wouldn’t have stayed longer. Rather than stressing my integrity when you don’t even know me, try explaining the photos we took, if there’s any way to justify them. Would the price have been the same for a clean, well-maintained rental, as you claimed about the welcome gift in your photos? Not every customer is treated the same.
