Just outside the rampart, so it was easy to walk to everything, and parking was convenient too. The host was friendly and accommodating. Such a beautiful place for a little getaway, probably the best BnB I've stayed at. Highly recommended.
Really, really great.
The location makes it easy to get around on foot or by bike, and they even provided a free parking permit. We had a generous, delicious breakfast with great ingredients and an absolutely divine clafoutis. Maison Diderot is full of stories and has distinctive, beautiful decor that reflects the two hosts. They were incredibly kind and thoughtful, and our stay felt soothing and restorative. It was hard to say goodbye after such a lovely encounter. We definitely want to return soon.
Luc gave us a wonderful welcome and brought real French savoir vivre to the stay. Breakfast was excellent, and the location was ideal. The guesthouse is a charming discovery, with a clear love of art throughout. We'll share the address and come back for sure.
Luc is an exceptional host. He made us feel at ease, shared useful information to help us enjoy the region, and makes clafoutis like nobody else. The house is comfortable and perfectly situated, with a harmonious feel that makes you want to pause and daydream. A lovely meeting 😊
