The bar has a lovely view, and getting straight onto the slopes is a real plus. The hotel itself is beautiful, the team is great, and breakfast was proper good every morning. We didn’t try the restaurant, sadly, but I’m sure it would’ve been great.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with fresh towels available, though the family room was very small. With the top bunk down, the door wouldn’t open properly. We could’ve used more coffee pods each day, and ended up buying our own along with milk. Getting around is a strong point. The hotel is only a few minutes from Les Menuires’ main shops and restaurants, and there’s direct access to the slopes. The lift from the car park also gets you to the supermarket quickly. The ski shop staff are nice, but bringing your own skis or renting elsewhere means paying €3 a day. Breakfast was fine, if basic and a bit repetitive. It wasn’t too busy and there was enough choice for most people, though we only saw cold meats once. Plenty of guests stock up on bread and pastries for lunch, so bring ziplock bags. Dinner options at the hotel are very limited. There are better restaurants around, but book ahead in Les Menuires because walk-in tables are hard to get. It’s newly refurbished and has plenty going for it, but meals out add up fast. Three of us could easily spend a hundred quid on one meal. With decent places at a reasonable price so hard to find, it wasn’t a bad stay, but next time we’ll go self-catered.
