The staff were amazing, and the room was really comfortable with a lovely view. We booked six days half board, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent throughout. When I called to say we’d arrive a bit before check-in, they had our room ready early. The hotel is less than 100m from the lift, which takes about five minutes to reach one of the main lift areas. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more, and we’ll definitely be back.

The restaurant has a simple evening menu, with three set dishes and a daily special, but the food was tasty and good value. It’s open only in the evenings, so booking ahead matters. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, just right before a day skiing. The hotel has about ten rooms and feels warm and homely. I stayed several days at this recently renovated place, and the restaurant and breakfast room look out over a magnificent valley and mountain view. The rooms were clean and practical, with good quality amenities and bedding. The managers and staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful and full of good advice. There are new heated ski lockers, and the Vaujany ski lifts are a short walk away. I highly recommend the Hôtel des Cimes.
