La Marina worked out just as well as I'd hoped after researching places around Les Mureaux. We stayed in two rooms during our time there, and both were very clean, well equipped, with comfortable beds. It's a self-service place rather than a standard hotel. The kitchen has everything you need, and each guest gets an assigned space, as explained when booking. Philippe, the owner, is available if you have questions and always replied quickly, though there wasn't much need for service. The place is peaceful, and restaurants, bakeries, and shops are only a few minutes' walk away. There are more options in nearby towns if you want to explore. Looking forward to staying at La Marina again.

The neighborhood is peaceful, with convenience stores nearby, and the view from the room is just lovely. I stayed at La Marina for a long time and found it clean, with everything needed for an easy, stress-free stay. Mr. Vaillant is a friendly host who pays attention to what tenants need. I can't recommend the place enough.

We paid about 115 euros per room each night for what was presented as a hotel, but La Marina is more like a rental house. Its name makes it sound like it's in the harbor, which it isn't. We had three rooms for two weeks, and only one had its own bathroom. The shared bathroom was cleaned just once a week, and with other long-term tenants using it, it got unpleasant. There was no breakfast, so you have to prepare your own. We had to ask the owner for toilet paper. No one is there in person, and getting in with the code means working through a long PDF that's only in French. The information about the accommodation was confusing. We hardly met any French people there, only immigrants. There were no French restaurants or cafes nearby, and you have to walk a kilometer to find any. After a week we asked for a cleaning. The owner replied on WhatsApp, "no intermediate cleaning," even though Booking said daily cleaning was possible. They did clean eventually. I'd recommend staying somewhere else.
