Hotelf1 Flins Les Mureaux

The hotel is incredibly cheap, but it was exceptionally dirty. The carpet, chair, counter, and window in my room were all filthy, and the shower soap dispensers were torn with no soap. It badly needs renovation. If it were clean, I'd give it an A+. The receptionist wasn't friendly and doesn't speak English. Translation apps can help with that, but she scolded me for not speaking French. This is like other F1 hotels before renovation, and they even mark on maps which ones have been renovated. The elderly woman at the desk was the only other downside. 😀

The filth made this a terrible stay. The room was disgusting, and I found it the dirtiest hotel in all of France. Service was abysmal too. The receptionist was angry that I didn't speak French. I was traveling for work and wanted to stay another night, but the receptionist blocked payment at the electronic kiosk. When I called before 9:00 PM, she shouted that the hotel was closed. The morning before, when I checked out, she also refused to give me hot water for my coffee. Avoid this place completely. It may be undergoing renovations, or it may be close to bankruptcy.

A handy stop between Paris and Normandy, with a quiet, very clean room. Special thanks to the staff, who still served us breakfast after 9:30 am, even though our wake-up call had come late.

I've been coming to this hotel for more than 15 years and have never had a complaint. It's always clean and smells nice, and the staff are consistently pleasant and smiling.
