Hotel Restaurant La Chaumiere Les Mureaux - Flins

The room was far too hot, with no fan or ventilation, and it wasn't properly set up for two people: there was only one towel and one bar of soap. After what happened, I didn't feel comfortable asking for anything else. I had a valid, confirmed booking and paid in full the next morning. I have proof of payment, yet later the same employee cancelled the reservation on Booking, saying my card was invalid. That was misleading and unprofessional. The trouble began when I walked onto the property to check the parking. The gate was already partly open. I entered calmly on foot, without a vehicle, touching the gate, or causing any damage. An employee came to a window and shouted at me in a rude, aggressive way, telling me to leave and threatening to call the police before I could explain I was a paying guest. He also complained that it was late and he had to get up at 5 a.m., though I hadn't disturbed him or asked for help. In your reply, you claimed I forced the gate and implied I had caused damage. That isn't true, and it unfairly puts the blame on me. You also said help was available, but the room had clearly been prepared for just one person. I stand by my review. Guests should be treated professionally, without hostility, false accusations, or excuses.
