4/10
The staff were friendly and the food was good, but the place felt run-down and had an unpleasant smell. There was mould in the bathroom, paint coming off the ceiling, and a frustrating toilet paper dispenser. I was also wrongly blamed for setting off the unreliable fire alarm by smoking, even though I don't smoke. The lift is so small that I'd question whether the hotel works for wheelchair users. I wouldn't recommend it, since there are better options.

Our room was roomy and spotless, and the location was great for the price. The decor feels a bit old-fashioned, but that wouldn't stop me coming back. The staff were really lovely too.

A good-value place right by the port, with plenty of fish restaurants close by. The beds were comfortable, the shower worked well, and it was quiet despite the location. It's basic, but clean, and a very good budget option 😊

The parking card didn't work, and I was a little disappointed by breakfast. Apart from those issues, it was a very good stay.

The food was okay and the service got a bit patchy, though it was pretty busy. Overall, it was good.
