Résidence Club MMV Les Chalets des Cimes

Once we finally moved, we had a fabulous time at MMV, but the start of our stay left us upset and stressed. On the first night, a group of eight people in two or three rooms nearby kept making excessive noise from 11pm until 6am, and we got no sleep. We walked past their accommodation on the next two nights after moving to another block, and they were still outside late at night, shouting and drunk. They were also threatening. We went to reception the next morning and demanded either a move or a refund. It took until 6pm to move us, which was a major job because we had unpacked everything. The group was staying for another two nights. Reception staff were great, and the whole block had complained, but we lost a full holiday day and had to move all our things. What worries us about booking again is that MMV didn’t seem able to make this group leave, even though they were spoiling the holiday for a whole apartment block. Surely that should have been done. The experience after we moved was lovely, but the disturbance tainted the stay.

Our week at mmv exceeded what we expected. The residence is new, clean, and welcoming, and the staff were happy to help and made us feel comfortable. Hygiene measures were properly in place in the shared areas. It’s very well located, next to the mountain twister and several hiking and VTT trails, with supermarkets and the town center within a five-minute walk. The kids club and range of activities also seemed well organized. Big thanks!

We keep coming back to Les saises and have stayed at Chalet Les Comes four times, but this was the worst apartment we’ve ever had. If this had been our first visit, along with reception staff who seemed to have an “I couldn’t care less” attitude, we wouldn’t have booked again. The apartment was freezing, and we had to turn on the bathroom heating to warm it up. We couldn’t find a parking space even though we had paid for one. I’m so disappointed. This was nothing like we expected, and standards have slipped.

We waited five hours before the room was ready. Then we got there and found it dirty. Management seemed badly organized. Reception had said we’d have a lovely room, but the view is really bad and the apartment is very small for six people. We have to stay another week, so we hope it gets better.
