Domaine des Parisses - Chambres d'hotes

The room was cozy, with everything we needed, even a hair dryer. Breakfast was generous, with pound cake and homemade jams. After 500 km, finding this gîte at the end of the road felt like reaching a peaceful place with room to breathe. Thanks to Nathalie for such a warm welcome. Patricia and Nikitas from Bordeaux

The beds were comfortable, and breakfast was generous. Our hostess was warm, friendly, and attentive. The cottage was in perfect condition and had everything we needed, so we felt right at home. It’s a peaceful spot in lovely countryside, very close to Moulins. Highly recommended.

Nature all around and a really pretty setting. The room felt a little dated, though it was very clean. We got a warm welcome, and breakfast was excellent. I’d recommend it!

I contacted them a week before our family holiday to ask whether the pool was open, but got no reply to my email or to several calls at different times. We still went for our weekend away, since we had booked two nights based on the advertised children’s area and swimming pool. When we arrived, the pool had only just started filling and was about 10 cm deep. It’s a very large pool, and there was a lot of uncut grass in the children’s area. We left the morning after arriving, instead of staying the two nights, and were very, very disappointed. The only good part was chatting with the retired couple staying there at the same time. They were very disappointed too.
