We spent a lovely time sitting beneath the mulberry tree, enjoying the breeze with wine, soft cheese, and a baguette from town. The neighbor sold us a bottle of Rose for 10 Euros. It’s a beautiful spot among the Vinyards, and the host was great.

The views are great, and there are fabulous walks in nature. It’s calm, the staff are lovely, the food is good, and it’s a great place for children.

The restaurant served lovely homey food, with a choice each night of two appetizers, one entree, and three desserts. The chef was happy to cater to special diets, and told us vegetarian cooking was his specialty when he heard there was a vegetarian in our group. Set about a mile off the "main" road, the hotel sits beyond acres of vineyards and has on-site parking. It’s unpretentious, with friendly staff, and the spacious, comfortable rooms and bathrooms stay cool in summer thanks to the shade and thick walls.
